Aquaculture Gladstone Volunteer Program

product-image

There is an opportunity to become a volunteer in our world-class Aquaculture Gladstone multi-species fish hatchery. Volunteers help run the interpretive display area during opening hours, special events and when there is a private tour booking. Their role is talk to the public about hatchery operations including the fish breeding program, release of the fingerlings, the aquatic environment at Lake Awoonga and general information about GAWB. All volunteers are given the information they need for their role, as well as a special volunteer shirt.
